Mary Chaffin, President
As owner and president of H&W, Mary Chaffin oversees all corporate functions and directs the company to ensure that it attains sales and profit goals. She is responsible for devising all current and long-range plans and objectives. Her vision for the company's next two decades is to raise the bar of customer support even higher and to explore innovative technologies for opportunities in product development and services.
Chaffin successfully navigated H&W through the technology boom of the 1990s when the company saw revenues double and profits triple. Under her capable leadership, H&W has maintained steady profits during the tumult of the dotcom landslide of the 2000s.
Chaffin acquired H&W from founder and owner, Robert M. White, in January 2002, and she has served as president since December 1992. In her 25-plus years with the company, Chaffin also served as executive vice-president of administration, sales manager, and director of marketing.
Chaffin earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting.
Julie Bouvier, Director of Corporate Services
Julie Bouvier joined H&W in 1994 and brings more than 25 years of technology and managerial experience in the computer industry to her position as Director of Corporate Services. Bouvier oversees IT infrastructure as well as software quality assurance, customer relationship management, project management, technical writing, marketing communications, and market research. She provides leadership and management to all aspects of corporate services and internal hardware and software architectures. The core of her efforts is to ensure that H&W upholds its commitment to customers and quality.
Prior to joining H&W, Bouvier spent more than 15 years in IT management in both the manufacturing and banking industries.
Danette Salazar, Director of Finance, Human Resources, and Administration
Danette Salazar joined H&W in 1984 and has managed the activities and staff of the finance, human resources, and administration services since 1996. Salazar's department provides internal accounting and administrative services for the company and is responsible for all day-to-day business operations. Salazar oversees the financial and budget process, fulfillment, and all human resource activities. During her tenure, Salazar successfully ensured the smooth operation of business and customer services as the company twice expanded to larger facilities.
