IBM announced that after 9/30/09, it will no longer support CICS 2.3. As of 9/30/09, H&W will no longer test or guarantee that future product releases are backward compatible with CICS 2.3.
System requirements
For z/OS
- CICS Transaction Server (TS) 2.3 or later.
- Operational CICS Web Support (CWS) feature.
- z/OS release 1.8 or later.
- TCP/IP.
- Access to a Web browser.
- The WebTek Tools interface requires Internet Explorer 5.5 or later. All other features of WebTek work with any Web browser, and users can access "themed" applications from any Web browser.
- Desktop settings for display need to be at least 1024 by 768 pixels.
