What is Pipeline for Java?
Pipeline for Java provides a set of Java classes that can be used with IBM WebSphere Studio Application Developer (WSAD) or any IDE to allow Java programs (applets, servlets, and applications) to request and receive data from CICS applications. Upon receiving data in XML or any other format, Java programs can process and distribute CICS data using JSP, Java Beans, and so on.
Pipeline provides methods to manage session and state variables for passing data between servlets or for passing data to and from CICS programs. Pipeline also gives developers methods to allow applications to verify users against mainframe security systems.
